Bogdan Achimescu is a visual artist living between his native Romania and his adoptive Poland.
Achimescu's practice is an eclectic one. He remains faithful to drawing while making incursions in fiction writing, video, theory, interactivity, installation, etc.
He follows these multiple threads and binds them into an essay about history, transculturalism, utopia and serendipity.
Achimescu's work was prominently featured in international shows (The Venice Biennale, etc) and is part of major collections (NY MOMA, Uffizzi, etc).
