Asyle, Foundation, Utopia

nature: we take refuge in it, ground our thinking in it, confabulate about it

Dear Krescenty,
Here is the specimen I was telling you about. We managed to recapture it after that embarrassing mess-up at the lab. In the future we do not plan to construct new mutants without the Club's approval.
Also, 20% of the revenue resulting from prototype sales to collectors will be assigned to a liability insurance policy. After Pima Sternfecker sued us last year we are very concerned...
Here is an installation sketch of "A Fundamentalist Demanding Asylum in Utopia" (1998) done in collaboration with Olivier Dupont, during a residency in Ojców, Poland.
This prototype is really easy to assemble and transport, hence it is a good token whenever I need to "hop on" an event in the last moment.
Of course safety comes first, so we are unlikely to see mass production any time soon...

don't feed it, 100k Unpack the three books (accordian - style) Each book has two black covers with string loops for hanging Each book is now a hanging accordian of 38 photos (two rows of 19 photos). Hang them on two nails or pins, directly on the wall, using the loops on the covers. If the photos are hung correctly, they should look like this: * there is no need to completely flatten the zig-zags of the photos. If the paper flutters too much, it's OK to pin here and there!
